The STEM-2K3 is a regional chemical transport model, with the
SAPRC99 mechanism (218 reactions), and all of the 30 photolysis
rates are explicitly computed through its on-line TUV.
Aerosol Ions are calculated by the on-line four-bin SCAPE II module, developed by
CalTech and UC-Irvine. During this compaign, the lateral and top chemical boundary conditions
are provided by RAQMS global chemical transport model. In this page, we include 4-layer horizontal plots of STEM-2K3 Forecasts.
You can also view time-series or cross-section plots over any model grid.
We also include source-tagged tracers with tracer boundary condition from MOZART global models.
The "Anthro_VOC CO" and "Biogenic_VOC CO" reflect the secondary contributions from anthropogenic VOC
and biogenic VOC respectively.
All meteorological forecasts are provided by WRF.
